Claims

If you intend to make a claim relating to accidental damage or theft, you are required to report the event within 14 days of its occurrance. This period may be extended if it establised that the reporting of the event happened at the earliest practical opportunity.

ACCIDENTAL DAMAGE CLAIMS:
If your insured equipment gets damaged accidentally, you will be required to provide certain pieces of information:

• Details of the equipment damaged; Make, Model and Serial Number
• Date, Place and Time the damage occurred
• A description of the event
• Details of the damage sustained
• Cost of repair or replacement
• Proof of Purchase and ownership

THEFT CLAIMS:
If your insured equipment is subject to a theft you are required to undertake certain actions and provide certain pieces of information:

• Report the Theft to the Police
• Obtain the Officers Name, ID number and Station
• A copy of the Incident Report
• Details of the equipment stolen; Make, Model and Serial Number
• Date, Place and Time the theft
• A description of the event
• Details of how the equipment was accessed, eg photos of entry damage
• Cost of replacement
• Proof of Purchase and ownership
